About me
I am a born and raised New York playwright and actor.
Most recently, I have begun to embark on my writing career. My play Dilaria premiered off-Broadway in June 2025 and was subsequently extended. Starring Chris Briney (THE SUMMER I TURNED PRETTY), Chiara Aurelia (JOHN PROCTOR IS THE VILLAIN, CRUEL SUMMER), and Ella Stiller, Dilaria begs the question: Is attention worth dying for? Prior, my play Little Miss Ransom had a 2 week sold out run at Adult Film Theater in April 2024.
As a playwright, I am pulled by the urge to have an external conversation with the thoughts and ideas that I find are missing from the theatrical landscape of today. Born a native New Yorker, and raised by parents wed to the theatre, I grew up seeing as many as three plays a week, seldom felt as though I was having the experience of seeing something I could personally relate to. What drives me to write in my own voice and style, is from my admiration for great playwriting, and the permission to imagine myself within that world. My interest as a writer is over the series of complex questions that arise when a woman is declared to be "difficult" or "evil." I often ask myself how can I objectively play both sides of a characters morality, and where do those lines blur with an audiences predeterminations around the ideas presented?
